Church’s treatment of Gay
Men, Lesbian Women & Bi Sexual orientations:
It has targeted as a special
case for rejectionism and unloving prejudicial attitudes, sustained and masked
by wonky morality/abuse of Biblical Justification in the round....disregards
honesty and genuine disposition/inequality and humanity/frailty &
weakness/causality of wider informative/influences/other issues, which the
Church Leadership, Management, Hierarchies, Powers, Authorities, Stewards of
Assets & taking of the King’s Shilling have either normalised, sold out to
or cowered from facing and making a stand and the inconsistency thereof and
scape-goating engendered as a result for myopia and carte blanche
disrespect/state of slippery slope unworthiness. Thus, without proper redress in
many cases, because of its majoritive collusive and covert nature; hard to bring
to accountability.
The whole engagement of
approaches between Church and Gay Community, as any other, should be 'that all
may believe and come to faith in the gospel of Christ Jesus'. This without any
fear or favour. The tragedy is, too many Christians and Churches (the gathering
of Christians) and their Leaders have made homosexuality a special case and do
not treat just as one sin amongst many and we as humans, believers or other are
all imperfect and that's why we all need a Saviour. Equally, those who come to
Christ, who are believers or who grow up in a Christian family but who find
themselves with homosexual orientations of any kind, should not be treated with
expectations and on condition of 'instant change' more than anyone else. Yes in
His sovereignty, God does heal lives, he does lead us to a more mature way of
thinking and doing things and shows us a better way to love and enjoy life to
the full. But equally, how he does it, when he does it and where he does it
cannot be confined to that which suites political correctness, squeaky clean
appearances or any box we may wish to consign to his engagement with us as
Church, Leaders or in
